October’s four-day trip with Nature’s Classroom in Colbrook, Connecticut offered students in grades 3-5 a wonderful opportunity to explore environmental science in an authentic setting in the woods. They spent time exploring nature, and had the opportunity to observe animals as well as the forest at night time. They ended each evening gazing at the stars.
Students learned to live together and work as a team. This was a very rich experience for all of them and especially for those students who previously have never been away from home and their parents.
